Blake & Leighton - a different type of addiction.
I have to admit something - I’ve only ever watched one episode of “Gossip Girl”. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with me - I’ve a history of falling for the latest “cool show” (think The OC, the original 90210, Secret Life of Us, Degrassi Junior High …). For some reason, I just haven’t committed myself to exploring the GG concept...

When Twitter gets weird ...
(via Dave Gorman)
This blog post is more than a little worrying. Dave Gorman is getting harrassed by people because he’s not following them, when they’re following him. To the extent that they’ve decided they hate his guts and have attempted a smear campaign in public media. WTF?
Poor guy. I guess we’ve always known that the internet leaves us open to a whole heap of...

Chanel concept car.
Fiole have developed a Chanel concept car. It’s incredibly sleek, as you’d expect, and comes complete with an embedded Chanel logo on the front (no “badging” on this baby) and a gently watermarked / embossed logo on the roof.
I probably wouldn’t bother buying one, even if I had the money, but it’s an interesting landmark, in terms of...
TIMEBOMB - at MCA - Creative Sydney
TIMEBOMB is the brainchild of digital artist Lukasz Karluk (who works with me here at Holler Sydney) and Sydney sculptor/painter Maddi Boyd (KissKiss). Big ups to Raz for awesome video work, Emcee Able for the sounds, and of course, all of the contributing artists - DMOTE, Kid Zoom, Numskull, Ben Frost, Roach, John Doe, Bennett & Creon.
It’s fucking...

NRL Issue/Debate Shocks the Men, Too!
thefudgefactory:
Thankfully, there are people (and men) writing sensible stuff about this issue. But there is the awful fact that 20,000+ people are making a statement by joining the Support Matthew Johns Facebook Group. This shiz is bananas!

“You can’t expect men to … ”

Facebook Easter Egg
Easter eggs are SO OLD SCHOOL and I’m impressed that the teenaged founder of Facebook even knew what one was (jokes).
So, log into Facebook and type, when you’re on the home page (not in a text box):

Some nice visuals (boring) but scroll to the bottom, click on “English (UK)” and select “English (Pirate)” for some fun.
Truth
“With our award-winning process designed to meet your business needs, we feel confident that you’ll love our forward-thinking solution.” What? Shut up! Just stop it. I don’t know why we have to revisit the lesson, but let’s do it, just to be clear: everything you know about a nice dinner party applies to all business communication. Here’s one: your host, unless he’s a true asshole, doesn’t spend...
I’m going to focus on Tumblr. →
To anyone who may still be dropping by this blog – I’ve decided Tumblr’s much more my style and much, much easier to keep up-to-date with cool stuff – so for now, I’m focussing on my Tumblog –…

Alice in Frames.
Hard to explain, but it’s frames in a movie staggered in a “round” style. Just watch it.

$100,000 reward to catch the kids who killed Brian... →
A police officer just dropped into the Holler office to distribute some flyers about a murder that happened earlier this year - no one’s been caught and there’s now a $100,000 reward to bring the…
